4 PRODUCT FEATURE
Dis1. Transmitting power
Core function: The main function of clutch plates is to transmit the power of the engine to the transmission through the flywheel, thereby driving the wheels to rotate. When the clutch plate is in close contact with the flywheel, the power of the engine can be efficiently transmitted to the transmission system.
Application scenario: When the vehicle is driving normally, the clutch plate is tightly connected to the flywheel to ensure continuous power transmission, enabling the vehicle to accelerate smoothly.
2. Cut off power
Core function: The clutch plate can cut off the power transmission between the engine and the transmission system. When the driver steps on the clutch pedal, the clutch plate separates from the flywheel, interrupting power transmission.
Application scenario: The disengagement function of the clutch plate is crucial when shifting gears, parking, or temporarily cutting off power. For example, cutting off power during gear shifting can avoid the impact between transmission gears and extend the life of the transmission.
3. Smooth start
Core function: The clutch plate achieves a smooth start of the vehicle through a semi linked state (i.e., the clutch plate is in contact with the flywheel). This state allows the engine's power to gradually transfer to the transmission system, avoiding the vehicle from suddenly rushing out.
Application scenario: When the vehicle starts from a stationary state, the driver slowly lifts the clutch pedal to gradually bring the clutch plate into contact with the flywheel, achieving a smooth start and reducing vehicle shaking and impact.
4. Protect the transmission system
Core function: The clutch plate protects the transmission and other transmission components from the impact of high engine speed and torque by cutting off power transmission.
Application scenario: When the vehicle accelerates rapidly or suddenly stops, the clutch plate can cut off power in a timely manner, reduce the impact on the transmission gears and transmission shaft, and extend the service life of the transmission system.
5. Buffer and vibration reduction
Core function: The clutch plate can absorb some vibrations and impacts during the engagement and disengagement process, reducing the noise and vibration of the transmission system.
Application scenario: During vehicle operation, especially on uneven roads, the buffering function of clutch plates can reduce vibration transmission between the engine and transmission system, improving driving comfort.
6. Adjust and compensate for wear and tear
Core function: The clutch plate will gradually wear out during long-term use, but by adjusting the free stroke of the clutch pedal, the clearance changes caused by wear can be compensated for, ensuring the normal operation of the clutch.
Application scenario: Regularly checking and adjusting the free travel of the clutch pedal can ensure a tight contact between the clutch plate and the flywheel, avoiding poor power transmission caused by wear.

The most obvious symptoms of clutch failure include the following:
Clutch slippage: When the vehicle starts in low gear, releasing the clutch pedal may cause difficulty or inability to start. When accelerating, the vehicle speed cannot increase with the increase of engine speed, and there may be a feeling of insufficient power, and in severe cases, smoking and other situations may even occur

.
Incomplete clutch disengagement: When the clutch pedal is pressed to the bottom, the clutch cannot be completely disengaged, making it difficult to shift gears and possibly causing the clutch to heat up and even cause gear shifting

.
Clutch vibration: When the vehicle starts, there is a shaking phenomenon in the entire vehicle, especially during the process of slowing down the clutch pedal when idling or engaging in resistance, the vehicle will produce continuous impact

.
Abnormal noise from clutch: When lightly pressing the clutch pedal, if the release lever just contacts the inner end face of the release bearing, the clutch will produce a continuous "click, click, click" sound

.
The clutch pedal travel becomes longer: When starting the vehicle and pressing the clutch, if it needs to be pressed to twice the normal travel, it is often due to the wear and thinning of the clutch

.
Poor operation: When starting, if the clutch pedal feels uneven when lifted, the vehicle may shake back and forth, and there may be a sense of obstruction when stepping on or lifting the clutch, which usually means that the clutch plates need to be replaced

.
Prevention and solutions:
Avoid unnecessary clutch stepping, especially when there is no gear shift.
Reduce semi linkage time: and shift gears in a timely manner according to road conditions.
Do not step on the clutch pedal during deceleration: The clutch pedal should be stepped on after the vehicle speed has dropped to a suitable range to increase the idle time of the clutch.
Starting in 1st gear: to obtain maximum torque during starting and reduce the load on the clutch
